Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in construction fasteners and powder actuated fastening systems, as well as expertise in quality control, product development, and knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations across all states.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to gather industry product information.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products to develop strategic product roadmaps.
Product Development:
- Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to drive innovative product solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed product documentation including specifications, manuals, and training materials.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous internal and external testing to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain the highest levels of product performance and reliability.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with construction industry standards and regulations, ensuring all products comply with relevant guidelines.
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements during the product development process.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the construction industry.
Technical and Industry Expertise:
- Strong technical background in construction fasteners, including knowledge of powder actuated fastening systems.
- Extensive experience with industry standards and regulations.
- Proficient in utilizing market research and analytics to drive product strategy.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using product management and project management tools.
